It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

I know there are some people that will be just appalled that I am talking about Christmas when it's only August but I just couldn't wait to break out the Christmas stamps that I had just received from Stampin' Up. Thinking about the holidays always puts me in a good mood anyway. One thing I love about living in the States is that I can make all these cute snowmen cards which of course I never got the opportunity to living in Australia. That said, I have my mum sending me some stamps she purchased in Australia from a Stampin' Up Demonstrator there so I can at least make some Aussie Christmas cards too! So here is what I came up with...

The first one here is a shaker card. There are actually clear micro beads in there with the snowman. The snowman is from the set 'It's snow time'. Card stock colours are Sage Shadow and Always Artichoke and the patterned paper is from the Designer Series Paper called 'Wintergreen'.

This cute reindeer card was inspired by a card I saw on SplitcoastStampers.com. I don't remember the creators name but I sure to appreciate the creative spark I got from it. Stamp set - Moose You. Card stock - Olive Green and Real Red. Designer Series Paper - Dashing. Ribbon - Real red. The reindeer are joined together with natural thread. All products are from Stampin' Up!

Stamp Set 'Big on Christmas'. The snowman's head is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I used a versamarker to colour in just the face and then embossed the glittery powder of 'iridescent ice' over it.
This last card is a total CASE of one I saw on Splitcoast Stampers, but I think it is so cool I just had to share it. All I know is their user name which is 'Mytime'. The gold looks so much better and more brilliant in real life!
